Baby Maughn | Oceanside Oregon Short Beach Maternity

A serene, beautiful maternity session in Oceanside, Oregon.

Taryn is one of the sweetest, kindest, most determined people I’ve ever met.

She drove from Utah to visit the Oregon coast with her mother and aunt to have maternity photos done with me. How adorable is that? Ugh. Be still my heart.

Short beach, which is a tiny little beach located in Oceanside, Oregon is one of my favorite places in the entire world. It’s quiet, hidden and serene. When Taryn reached out to me and expressed interest in doing photos, she mentioned short beach being the location she was interested in. I couldn’t of been more surprised because of how secret this location was. Someone from another state being interested in shooting here? A total dream come true.

When I met her, there was not a moment of awkwardness or uncertainty. We met at the Airbnb they were staying at and from the moment I walked in, I couldn’t of felt more accepted.

We spent a long time shooting on the beach, which was much different than any of had remembered.. The rocks had come down quite a bit and changed the entire landscape of the area. But regardless, we still made the best of it and we were able to get the most gorgeous photos.
