First you send me an e-mail telling me what type of photos you’re looking to have done. Some clients like to talk over Facetime, telephone or in person- I’m cool with that too! After that, once we realize we’re a perfect fit, I’ll send you the contract and invoice. A non-refundable retainer is due within 24 hours of signing the contract. We will stay in contact up until the day while I answer any and every question you may have.

I sure do! Additional travel fees do apply for anything 1 hour outside of Portland, Oregon. I am very familiar with the vast majority of Oregon and some of Washington. Please contact me to discuss rates.

That’s ok! Honestly, most people don’t enjoy taking pictures. I’ll spend our session doing things that elicit smiles, giggles and other emotions, all while looking totally natural and having fun while doing it! I want you to feel comfortable, so I also don’t mind being a total fool during the process. I encourage my clients to tell me if there is anything they may be self conscious of or nervous about, so I can help ease those concerns.

It can be really hard to get little ones to sit still and smile sometimes.. so that’s why I don’t do it! Don’t get me wrong, I’ll get your kiddo to smile.. but by having fun and allowing them to just be a kid. Whether that’s talking to them about their favorite Disney movie, singing a silly song, or letting them run around for 10 minutes to get some energy out. I have worked with children of all ages, abilities and temperaments and my top priority is helping them just simply have a good time. I always send a list of tips and tricks as well prior to the session to help encourage kids to be in a good mind space upon arrival to the session.

As of January 2024 I am not currently offering direct orders. However, I am currently working with a professional printing lab to get that set up. For the time being, I can recommend my favorite client friendly printing labs for you to order from. I work with companies who offer beautiful books, canvases, prints and a variety of other options. Please continue to check back to see when I will begin offering direct printing. Once this is up and running, you can order directly through your gallery page and prints will be sent to your home! Easy as that.

Working with newborns is an incredibly special honor that I do not take lightly. Therefore, I am educated in things like safe posing and proper wrapping techniques. I am also well versed in being aware of babies behaviors that may indicate baby is uncomfortable or unhappy. I take my time during the session to hold them, soothe them or just bounce and “shhh” for a moment to get them as comfortable as possible.

I am also fully insured, so you can feel confident that your bundle of love is in the right hands.
