Haven & Luis | Spooky Session

A spooky couples session in Portland, Oregon.

2-3 months ago I saw this gorgeous tulle skirt on Amazon. At the time, I was looking for a fun Halloween outfit. As I was browsing the colors, I came across the black one and my creative mine went a mile a minute. I knew that I had to buy it and I had to do a spooky photoshoot. Halloween is my favorite holiday and in reality, it’s a bit more of a lifestyle for me. I am a fan of all things spooky and my home is often decorated with little touches of the macabre and eerie persuasion.
Haven & Luis are two people I have known from afar from a long time as they are mutual friends of someone I’m very close to. Haven has gorgeous, lavender hair and posts beautiful photos of her dark lips and dramatic smoky eye quite often, so I knew she had the vibe already that I was going for. Pair that with her handsome hubby and I knew I had my models. They were so fun to create with and so willing to bring this vision of mine to life. It was raining sideways more of a mist during this shoot and it was freezing, but we made the best of it and you’d never know poor little Haven was freezing her butt off!
